Conformation
The heart and soul of any dog show, this very traditional
competition among more than 150 breeds is based on how well
a dog adheres to physical standards set by the American
Kennel Club. Top dog wins “Best in Show.”
Junior Showmanship
Created to expose youngsters from 9 to 18 years old to the
wonderful world of dog shows, these special contests judge
the handler, not the dog.
